This  is a long-term ongoing collaboration producing music/sound and text works for record, broadcast and performance.


June 2019 


Martin and Helen have been awarded a prestigious two-week residency at Elizabeth Bishop’s childhood home in Great Village, Nova Scotia, Canada during September 2019. They will be developing a new music and text work using field recordings made during their stay. More to follow.

City of Departures

New sound and text work in development – working title Squall – uses text from Helen’s upcoming collection City of Departures forthcoming with Carcanet in July 2019.
